Giggs to demand players bring enthusiasm, passion and their wives to training

Newly-appointed Wales manager Ryan Giggs has wasted no time in laying down the law with the national side, insisting every player bring enthusiasm, drive and the missus to every training session.

“The wives boost my morale, it’s important to keep them close”, explained the Premier League legend today, insisting that this is even more important for away matches where overnight hotel stops are required.

Referencing his plans moving forward, he added: “My selection policy is not overly strict or anything, I have a good eye for talent. As long as they’re not afraid to head, have a good stamina level and are decent with the balls, they’re in with a shout”.

“As for the lads, I expect hard work in training and complete dedication to the team”.
