Rugby is the greatest and most passionate sport on the planet, according to a man who hasn’t given the game a fleeting thought since around February last year.
“It’s a real man’s sport, not like football, and the fans live and breathe every lung-busting moment”, local man Simon Price explained while pulling out a WRU shirt he last wore about 12 months ago.
“Ruggers is all about passion, both on and off the pitch, or battleground as I call it. If you are a fan who is as emotionally invested in the sport as I am, it can be too much to take at times.
“It’s a good job it’s only played in February, I’d be a wreck all year round if there were local clubs playing it every weekend”, he added.
