A new fitness regime choreographed by Akinwale Arobieke, known across the North West and North Wales as ‘Purple Aki’, could hit shelves in time for Christmas, according to surprised retail experts.

‘AkiFIT’, which will have a strong focus on building and improving overall muscle tone and definition, is already tipped to climb to the top of the hotly contested New Year fitness DVD charts.

Ed Price, who helped produce the DVD, said: “Up until now we’ve had to rely on the likes of Geri Halliwell for fitness advice, but let’s face it, what credentials does she actually have? Aki knows every inch of this game, literally, so move over Geri you ginger tramp, there’s a new squatter in town”.

He continued: “The beauty of AkiFIT is that you log all of your measurements online to track your progress, and once you’ve reached the target size, you will receive a personal visit from Aki himself who will check your measurements personally, just to be sure”.

“He seems very insistent on that last bit”, he added.
