The noun ‘Boy Racer’ has been renamed ‘Sitting-in-a-car-park-For-No-Fucking-Reason-Enthusiast to better reflect the activities involved in being one.

The previously used Boy Racer was deemed unfit to describe what actually goes on after somone purchases a tailpipe and some neon headlights from Halfords, as expert Simon Briggs explained:

“There’s a distinct lack of actual racing going on here, so we felt it best to rename it for to what it actually is, which is essentially sitting in Aldi car park and listening to a Bonkers CD for several hours”.

He added: “We were going to rename it to ‘Sitting-in-Your-Mums-Corsa-In-a-Car-Park-For-No-Fucking-Reason Enthusiast but we felt it was a bit too long”.
