Job vacancy successfully filled at Mold Cattle Market

"Hi, I'm new in town"

A job vacancy at Mold’s century old cattle market has been successfully filled this afternoon, it’s been revealed. The successful candidate is a London-based family man, who said he’s been dreaming of the drastic career and life change for years.

Speaking to us this afternoon, 49-year-old David, still thrilled at the news, said: “I officially quit my suit and tie job today, but I have no plans on taking it easy. I submitted my application to the market just hours after leaving. Sometimes you’ve got to grab life by the head and just smash it.”

The job, which has been available for several months, involves handling livestock, including cows, sheep and pigs.

Cattle Market owner Terry Price said: “We’re relieved someone’s finally taking the job. We do have concerns about his lack of experience, but he insisted that he learnt quite a bit about it during his spare time in uni, which is good to hear”.

Booking his train north this afternoon, David added: “I know I only have a little experience, but I’m going to roll my sleeves up and give it my all. I really am going to give it every inch I have”.
