International megastar Justin Bieber was hospitalised yesterday evening following an assault on the top floor of Chester’s Rosies nightclub, it’s been revealed.

The 22-year-old Canadian has been performing in various venues across the North West, and had retreated to Cheshire for some ‘chill time’.

The star reportedly escaped the scuffle with only minor injuries, but has said he will be returning to the states immediately after his upcoming gig in Sheffied.

Bartender Jake Thomas, who witnessed the skirmish said: “I don’t care if you’re an international superstar, you don’t just go swanning up to the top floor of Rosies. If you’re small, white and have crap hair, you must remain on the middle floor listening to ABBA and Coldplay dance remixes like everyone else. He was asking for it”.

The club doormen and Bieber’s security staff quickly apprehended his attackers and removed them from the venue. Bouncer Mike Smith said: “It was chaotic. We do usually try to keep troublemakers out using a basic checklist, like no t-shirts, trainers, anyone from Wrexham, that sort of thing. Sometimes they just slip through the cracks.”

He added: “We would like to sincerely apologise. If we knew Justin was going to get away with only minor injuries, we would have left it a bit longer”.
