A Llandudno man is really looking forward to meeting his English friends to ‘socialise’ later, just within the city walls of Chester, right at the stroke of midnight.

Martin Price, who was asked specifically to ‘come alone’ and to ‘not bother making any plans for the rest of the weekend or year’, said he can’t wait to get out the house and catch up with old pals.

“I haven’t been out in what feels like forever”, said Price today, who was also asked to ‘stand perfectly still for a minute or two’ once within the city limits.

“I’m not sure what all the unusually specific demands are all about, or why they’re making a point of me saying goodbye to my mum, but who cares, I’m off out for a good time with the lads. See you tomorrow.”

Price’s Chester-born friend, who organised the get-together, said: “We’re going to go, erm, bowling. Yeah, just a few games of late night bowling or whatever”.
