Legendary broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough is in the area filming a new two-part documentary set to be aired on BBC One in December, it’s been confirmed.

‘Human Devolution’ will be filmed in and around various North Wales towns, and will focus on the seemingly unstoppable devolution of the human being.

The 90-year-old national treasure said: “In just five minutes here in Mold I’ve seen one male unashamedly reaching down his trousers for his testicles in broad daylight, while his friend urinated against a lamp-post while shouting something incomprehensible to a terrified pensioner.

“The last time I saw behaviour like this I was filming a family of apes in Central Africa. I’m in no doubt that human devolution is in full swing and it’s accelerating. It won’t be long before these sapiens reach stage two and begin hurling fresh faeces at one another”.

“And here we are at stage two”, Attenborough later added when arriving in nearby Flint.
