A new bi-annual waste and recycling collection schedule proposed by Wrexham County Council has been heavily criticised by residents this week.

The new collection dates have been confirmed as November the 4th every other year, sparking anger across the region.

“This idea seriously stinks”, said one furious resident. “I refuse to force my kids to walk through mouldy porridge and yoghurt from last April just to get to school. It’s just irresponsible and cruel of the council. I mean, what if someone steps on one of my hyperdermic needles?”

Councillor Emlyn Parry said: “We have to save money somewhere. I don’t know why they’re complaining. Caia Park has evidently had this schedule in place for many years and they seem fine with it”.
